Hash Brown Cheesie Potatoes

This recipe is from Michelle of Livonia MI who writes, "This is a recipe that my mom would make that we loved growing up. It is an easy recipe for even those who aren't that comfy in the kitchen. Any leftover potatoes are GREAT the second day too!!"

Ingredients: Recommend this recipe to a friend

2 packages (12 oz. each) shredded hash browns
1 cup half and half cream
1/4 cup butter
1 tablespoon dried onion flakes
1 teaspoon salt
Pepper
1 tablespoon parsley
1 1/2 cups grated mild Cheddar cheese

Directions:

Thaw the hash browns and squeeze the water out of them.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Heat up the cream and add the butter, onion, salt, pepper and parsley. Add the thawed hash browns to the mixture. Add the cheese, stir to combine and put into a baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour.
